OTTAWA, ONTARIO – Beaufield Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:BFD) is pleased to announce that Amseco Exploration Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:AEL) has started an airborne survey in Urban and Barry Townships of Quebec. This survey will cover ground where Amseco can earn a 50% interest (Press release March 4, 2010).
The survey will extend over 5,037 line kilometers flown at 100 meter spacing between survey lines and with control lines at 500 m intervals. The average survey altitude will be 80 meters using a Geometrics G822 sensor. The contract is being done by GeoData Solutions GDS Inc. of Laval, QC. The survey should be completed within 2 weeks with the final reports to be delivered rapidly afterwards.
The purpose of this high sensitivity aeromagnetic survey is to systematically map the geology and structures that underlay the claims owned by Amseco or over which Amseco holds an option to purchase an interest located in the Urban and Barry townships of Quebec. Through the analysis of the survey results Amseco will relate the identified structures to the numerous gold bearing structures occurrences and deposits that are found in this mining camp. The data integration will be realized by a reputable geophysicist once the survey is completed and the data sets and maps are made available. Amseco will integrate this new aeromagnetic data with available historical exploration data to generate an interpretation that will be used to direct a more focused summer gold exploration program.
The Lac Rouleau deposit is located on ground covered by the Option to Purchase Agreement between Beaufield and Amseco. Metanor’s and Eagle Hill’s gold deposits are on ground that is contiguous to Beaufield’s and Amseco’s claims.
