Beaufield
Resources Inc., (TSX VENTURE: BFD), A 3,411
metre diamond drill program was completed
on the 100% owned historical Tortigny base
metal deposit (copper, zinc, silver and
gold) The Tortigny deposit previously drilled
by Noranda has not been the subject of
a 43-101 report nor has the previous drilling
been examined by a Beaufield geologist
nor an independent Qualified Person (NR
January 22, 2008). Tortigny has all weather
road access and is located 100 kilometres
north of Chibougamau, Qu,bec. Samples were
deposited at the laboratory for assay on
February 9th and assay results are expected
in 5 to 8 weeks.

Beaufield
Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:BFD) is pleased
to announce that it has signed a letter
of intent with Xstrata Canada Corporation,
Xstrata Zinc Canada Division to acquire
Xstrata's 50% interest in the Tortigny-Troilus
property package for $700,000 in cash.
In addition to the cash payment ,
Xstrata will also retain a 1% NSR in
the property. Following the transaction,
Beaufield will own 100% of the entire
property, which contains the Tortigny
and Moleon base metal deposits (copper-zinc-silver)
and a very large property package (788
claims, 21,000 hectares) containing many
other exploration targets uncovered during

PURCHASES REMAINING
20% OF OPINACA

Beaufield Resources Inc.
(TSX VENTURE:BFD) (the "Company") is pleased
to announce that it has completed the acquisition
of the remaining 20% carried interest of
Geotest Corporation ("Geotest") in the
Company's Opinaca gold project in the James
Bay region of Quebec (the "Opinaca Property")
as previously announced on January 17,
2007. In consideration for such interest
the Company has issued a total of 800,000
shares and granted a 0.5% net smelter returns
royalty ("NSR") over the Opinaca Property
to Geotest. The above shares are subject
to a 4 month hold period which expires
on October 20, 2007. As a result of the
foregoing, the Company now owns a 100%
interest in the Opinaca Property subject
only to the 0.5% NRS. The acquisition of
this interest confirms Beaufield's confidence

an agreement to acquire, subject to the
Exchange approval, the 20% carried interest
of Geotest Corporation ("Geotest") in 185
mineral claims comprising the Company's
Opinaca gold project adjacent to Goldcorp
Inc.'s Eleonore property in the James Bay
region of Quebec. Geotest will receive
800,000 common shares of Beaufield and
retain a 0.5% net smelter returns royalty
over the entire 185 claims. Upon completion

New surface sampling by
Beaufield west of what was previously referred
to as the Channel zone was conducted during
the 2006 summer exploration program. Assays
received from the program included gold
values of 27.6 g/t, 9.7 g/t and 9.2g/t
within a geological sequence which contains
altered sediments, conglomerates and pegmatite
dykes. Conglomerates with a strongly altered
matrix elsewhere in the area returned gold

Opinaca - Geology and sampling
of the northern portions of the Opinaca
property have been ongoing during the summer.
David Rivard P. Geo., Exploration Manager,
has observed rock types and mineralization
that appear similar to the adjoining Virginia-
Goldcorp gold discovery and look promising
for gold deposition. A winter drilling
program will follow up Beaufield's encouraging
initial drill results from the winter 2006
program and results from the summer program
