Description :
The Casa Berardi claim blocks were map-staked in 2010 following Aurizon Mines Ltd's release of excellent drillhole results where hole CBP-0160 intersected 42.1 grams of gold per tonne over 21.5 metres (true width). The land was staked due its proximity to the Casa Beradi mine, which includes similar underlying geology and for its gold values in humus and soil samples on the Beaufield claims which are up to five times that of those around the mine area (see map).
Beaufield Resouces has an option agreement with Actus Minerals whereas the latter has the option to acquire 50% of the Casa Berardi property by spending a total of $650,000 in exploration expenditures and issuing an aggregate of 1,200,000 shares over a three year period.
